Our Story
CropRec was built to solve a simple problem: UK growers spend too much time on compliance, and too much is at risk when it goes wrong.
We're a Lancashire-based team with roots in farming country — food, how it's grown, and who grows it matters to us.
Our founder, Richard spent his career in investment management within the insurance industry — one of the most heavily regulated environments there is. Compliance wasn't optional. It required precise systems, clear audit trails, and processes that worked under scrutiny.
When we saw how growers were managing records — spreadsheets, paper logs, disconnected systems — it was obvious there was a better way.
